Our Story

We are a family torn apart by elder abuse. Our story is similar to so many out there who have had their lives shattered, and grief stricken, due to the abuse of either a family member or external person who decided to take control and advantage of a vulnerable, senior adult.

You never expect it to happen to you, and then it does. One day what has been churning inside of one person takes a turn that ends any cooperation between family members, takes evil to a level you thought couldn’t exist, and cuts off connection to the most vulnerable member of your family – an elderly parent.

Our story started years before my father had his stroke, but the full rise of the abuse started about one month after the stroke occurred.
